The Haram consists of wide courtyards, prayer halls, domes, and scattered landmarks. Any precise area figure must later be entered from a documented source via statistics data.

Until then we rely on qualitative description: the Qibli prayer hall on the qibla side, the Dome of the Rock at the center, the Dome of the Chain nearby, and the gates around the compound.
