About Us

About Us

Al-Ruwwad Academy for Jerusalem Knowledge is a knowledge institution concerned with Jerusalem, Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the cultural heritage linked to them, through publishing, education, documentation, and digital platforms. It works in Arabic first, and places clarity of terminology and fidelity of source above speed of publication.

The Academy seeks to build a knowledge space that brings together news, studies, articles, visual documentation, landmarks, figures, and books, helping the reader, researcher, and interested person reach Jerusalem knowledge from varied sources and materials, in a clear Arabic experience that respects right-to-left writing.

Our Vision

To be a calm, trusted Arabic reference for Jerusalem knowledge, combining scholarly solidity with ease of access for the non-specialist reader as for students and researchers.

Our Mission

To produce clear knowledge about Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque, and to make it available in a digital experience that respects Arabic, distinguishes landmark from account and analysis, and links each topic to an appropriate image—not a random one.

Our Fields of Work

  • Knowledge, history, and architecture related to Jerusalem.
  • Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Noble Sanctuary (al-Haram al-Qudsi al-Sharif), and its landmarks.
  • Educational activities and lectures.
  • Responsible visual documentation.
  • Digital publishing and Arabic editing.
  • Jerusalem’s landmarks, neighborhoods, gates, and walls.
  • Figures linked to the history of Jerusalem.
  • The digital library and books related to Jerusalem knowledge.
  • Daily memory and historical stations.

What We Offer

  • Building an integrated knowledge platform that can grow without scattering its sections.
  • Publishing solid Arabic content about the city, the mosque, landmarks, and figures.
  • Documenting daily memory with historical links that can be verified.
  • Partnership with libraries, heritage centers, and related educational bodies.
  • Delivering an excellent Arabic RTL user experience on mobile and desktop.

Our Method

We work to organize knowledge, classify it, and link it to available sources, distinguishing documented information from readings and interpretations, and avoiding presenting unverified information as final fact. Our values: solidity, clarity, fidelity in the source, respect for the place, and service to the reader.

Jerusalem Knowledge

We start from the view that knowledge related to Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque deserves an organized and precise presentation in names and terminology, so that «Al-Aqsa Mosque», «the Noble Sanctuary», «the Dome of the Rock», «the Qibli prayer hall», and «the Old City» remain clear without confusion.

Sources and Documentation

We take care that the source is as clear as possible, and that documentary material is not mixed with analytical reading without distinction. We do not claim that archiving is complete, and we do not present the unverified as final fact.

Digital Library

The platform includes a digital library that aims to ease access to related books and knowledge materials, organized by authors, classifications, and available data, within the site itself.

The Academy’s Aim

That knowledge related to Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque be available in an organized, clear, and trustworthy form, and that the researcher, reader, and interested person find in the Academy a space that helps reading, discovery, and research.
