Historic Schools in Jerusalem
A reminder that the city was—and still is in its architectural layers—a place of learning: schools, ribats, and libraries.
Across the medieval and Ottoman centuries Jerusalem hosted schools and ribats that helped shape the urban fabric around the Haram and in the neighborhoods. The card recalls this educational dimension; it is not a list of every school’s name.
